Description: 
Flat "gingerbread" figures were manufactured by pressing wet clay into clay molds. They were removed for air drying, firing, and painting. The figure was broken in a household context rather than a public building. The body has been lost. The male head, wearing a cotton turban has a bird attached, was a warrior.
