Description:
The artist used buff clay to create this solid standing religious figure. The elite person wears an elaborate zoomorphic saurion headdress, a shoulder cape, and a long shirt. The position of the arms suggests a ceremonial activity such as singing, chanting or dancing. It is possible the figure is a priestess of Quetzalcoatl.
