  1. A standing Tlatilco Female with short bulbous legs holds both hands on her abdomen. Her large elongated tapered head contains narrow punctuated eyes. Nothe the body paint, especially the red triangular area around the belly-button. (1)

  12. A Xantile is an incsense burner in the form of a seated anthropomorphic being. Burning incense placed inside the xantile emerges as smoke from the mouth, which represents and offering to the Maquiltonals. (6)
  13. A zoomorphic vessel resembling a rodent-like creature with an elaborately painted body. The strap handle facilitates handling and the tail spout allows for control pouring. In Mesoamerica the number three refers to the three realms; the heavens or the sky, the earth or the living world, and the underworld or the land of the dead. (6)
